Personal Profile

Travis Grieb CFP®, CIMA®

Founder and Managing Partner

Nothing makes me happier than accomplishing something through hard work and perseverance. I see that on my kids’ faces – when they make their first basket, learn to read, or reach a new goal. And I hear it in the voices of my clients, when we talk about the rewarding results of the financial plans we put in place and carefully manage over the years.

I’ve been working as a financial advisor for more than 14 years, and my passion for helping clients properly manage their wealth led me to start my own firm under the name Centeras Private Wealth.

Since graduating from Whittemore School of Business in Durham, New Hampshire, with a B.S. in Finance, I have pursued a path of continual improvement, to ensure I can always give my clients the benefit of my knowledge and experience. I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation from The American College in Bryan Mawr, Pennsylvania. I also earned my CERTIFIED INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ANALYSTSM designation. I currently hold Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 66 (Investment Advisory Agent) licenses, and am Life, Health & Variable Annuity Licensed. I am a longstanding member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.

Before founding Centeras, I worked at Ameriprise Financial, focusing on comprehensive financial planning and asset management for my clients. I was recognized eight times by the firm for my performance, but what mattered most to me were the wonderful relationships I enjoyed with my clients.

In 2019, I was recognized on the Forbes’ Next-Gen Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list.

Like the multigenerational families I work with, my own family taught me the value of hard work and commitment.

I especially enjoy working with multigenerational families. Something I learned from my own is “the value of hard work and commitment.” I take that to heart, and it drives my positive attitude about relationships overall. I Iove spending time chasing around my son and daughter in our backyard. But I also believe in the impact we all can have with our lives, so I look to give back to my community. I enjoy participating in the Seacoast Rotary Club as well as American Red Cross blood drives regularly. We also volunteer as a team at local charities, such as New Generations and the Salvation Army. Historically we’ve held a semi-annual volunteer day – an important tradition we will continue and grow as a new firm.

With a loving family, a job I’m passionate about, and clients I truly care about, I consider myself to be a very wealthy person.
