Valerie joined Centeras Private Wealth in January 2021, as a Financial Planning Specialist. She has decided to return to the workforce after being retired for the past four years. Prior to her retirement, Valerie spent 32 years as a Certified Financial Planner with Ameriprise Financial, owning and operating her own financial planning practice in Dover, NH and Portland, ME. She previously held a Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63, as well as Life, Health, and Annuity Licenses. She continues to hold her Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) designation. She graduated in 1986 from the University of Maine with an undergraduate degree in Accounting. In her spare time, she enjoys working out on almost a daily basis, and you can find her doing anything from taking her dog for a walk to weight training at the local gym. Valerie will be our behind the scenes planning specialist, working with Travis on developing important financial planning strategies for our clients.
